“FITTING ROOM BEHAVIORS & SALES GOALS”
BY JENNY WILES

It is important to share your sales goals with your team each day. This is a great way to get them more invested in your business and something to collectively work towards as a team.
Give them your daily and weekly conversion and UPT goals. Do they know what those metrics mean and why they are important? Share your previous day and make sure they know if you are exceeding or missing your goals.
Get your team’s thoughts on how to exceed your goals. What are they hearing from the customer? What opportunities are they seeing on the sales floor?
Is your team adding items to the fitting room? Additional items based on her picks and their recommendations. Including jewelry and accessories. Once she is in the fitting room, she will try on anything.
You have heard me say this before… When she visits the fitting room, she is 70% more likely to buy. There are your more transactions…
And remember customers who try on buy 4 times the amount of customers that don’t. There are your bigger transactions.
Encourage her to come out of the fitting room to show off her outfit. This is a great time to compliment her style and for your team to learn about fit. It is also a great way for your team to build their confidence in their styling and wardrobing suggestions when the customers loves what they added to her fitting room.
