WELCOME CELINA, TX & BAKERSFIELD, CA!

I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer, her husband, Brandon, her daughter, Adrienne and her incredible team opening the Celina, TX location. Jennifer’s boutique, situated in the historic town of Celina, is a bustling town square about 30 minutes from the nearest hotel!

My favorite parts of Jennifer’s boutique were the historical brick walls and the Mixtile photography that showcased the town and some personal images. After months of anticipation, the community turned out in force and was so supportive of Jennifer and the team. We had a strong ALB showing with Nicole and Cidney flying in from Rome, GA, Vinci coming from Frisco, and Brieana coming with some decor pieces from her McKinney, Allen, and Fort Worth locations! I am thankful to have been a part of their opening. Jennifer and the team are doing an outstanding job styling the women of Celina, TX!

“NOW OPEN: BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA”

After working closely with Michelle and her team, I visited Bakersfeld, CA and had the privilege of seeing her gorgeous boutique. Her space is 1500 SF but feels much larger due to the large windows, which provide natural lighting, and the large Apricot Lane Sign which provides excellent visibility from the highway.

I loved the modern chandelier that Michelle chose for her space, as well as her gold fixtures, which contribute to a high-end feel of her space. She carries a variety of premium brands such as Paige, Hidden, and Free People that customers were excited to see!

Another unique feature of this location is the flower décor that Michelle made, on her “Hello Gorgeous” sign, which is the perfect spot for customers to pose for a fun social media moment! Michelle’s opening was extremely successful, and traffic was steady, which highlighted the need and enthusiasm for a new boutique in town. We had surprise visitors Ken Petersen and Shelby from Visalia, who came out to visit and show their support!

After months of construction and hard work, I had the pleasure of working with Karen and her team at the Algonquin, IL location. Karen’s space is located about an hour outside of Chicago in a revitalized plaza just off of a busy main road.

Karen is thankful to have the support of her friends, family, and her community. Her husband Vince also played a big role in the opening of her business. We look forward to working with Karen going forward and can’t wait to see what is next for her and her team. Check out these photos below!

What a great week opening Apricot Lane Boutique in Smithtown, NY! I was fortunate to join Christine and her team onsite the week of the total Eclipse! However, we were busy merchandising the boutique and were focused on transforming the space that Christine and her husband poured their talents into. Simon built out the space, by laying the beautiful light plank floors, building two beautiful built-in cabinets, installing pipe fitting rooms, and creating Christine’s vision with a flower social media wall. Her space is in a busy shopping center and was well received.

Christine’s touch of light patterned rugs, a large ornate mirror outside of the fitting room, mixtile photography, and vases and flowers finished off her vision. This location is long and narrow which enabled us to place the fitting rooms in the back to create a great try-on and shopping experience. This well-thought-out placement of the built-in cabinets and spacious sales floor provided an opportunity for us to tell great product stories and highlight many of the new specific pieces. Congratulations!!

WELCOME BISMARK, FARMINGTON AND ROME!

ALB BISMARCK

After working closely with Kari on her journey to open her Apricot Lane Boutique in Bismarck, ND, I was able to join her and her team onsite, in the March snow! We spent the week bringing her boutique to life! Her space is a new building on a well-traveled road and has stunning glazed concrete floors with a beautiful built-in cabinet topped off with Danish modern furnishings. There are also large windows which provide lots of natural light. The exterior of the building is a deep blue showcasing her Apricot Lane sign and a couple of specially designated Apricot Lane Parking spaces!

The streamlined gold and glass chandeliers that Kari chose, maintain that clean bright vibe in her space. This location is wide and enabled us to tuck the fitting rooms in the back corner to create a great try-on and shopping experience. This well-thought-out and spacious sales floor provided an opportunity for us to tell a great color story and highlight the new specific pieces. Kari’s opening was a constant flow of traffic! Eager shoppers came to check out the new Apricot Lane Boutique. What a pleasure to continue the journey with Kari! Check out the photo gallery from the opening below!

ALB ROME

After working closely with Nicole and her team, I visited Rome, GA, and had the privilege of seeing her beautiful and unique boutique. Her space is on the corner, right in the heart of thriving downtown Rome, and is a stunning two-level, loft-style building, with exposed brick and plenty of natural lighting. There are also several large windows, perfect for displaying mannequins, which provide excellent visibility to the street and to people walking by.

I loved the modern chandeliers that Nicole chose for her space, which maintain the industrial and historical feel of her building. The second floor, a “bonus space,” provided an opportunity for me to continue her story and highlight the new Commando line, as well as athleisure wear, in addition to several other rolling racks of product, which allowed the space to flow and not feel too crowded on the lower level. Another unique feature of this location is the flower décor that Nicole herself made, on both her cash wrap wall and on the upstairs mirror. She also has a fun sign upstairs that says, “Be your own kind of beautiful – #Apricot Lane Rome,” which is perfect for a unique social media moment! Nicole’s opening was extremely successful, and traffic was steady, which highlighted the need and enthusiasm for a new boutique in town. Leslie and Sarju from Cumming, GA ALB even drove out to visit which was wonderful to see their support. ALB FARMINGTON

I had the pleasure of working with Paula and her incredible team at the Farmington, MI location. Paula’s location, situated in the heart of downtown Farmington about 30 minutes west of Detroit, is a warm and inviting reflection of where she was born and raised in Brazil. Her space is in an up-and-coming area, with tons of foot traffic from the surrounding local businesses. The black trim in her boutique pairs perfectly with the crisp white walls and pops of color in her decor.

My favorite part of Paula’s boutique was the accent wall in her fitting rooms. The wall decal is a replica of Copacabana which is a famous beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. They paired it with a refreshment bar including coffee, snacks, and other treats. Paula said that she didn’t just want her customers to come shop, but to come and have an experience.

After months of anticipation, the Farmington community turned out and was so supportive of Paula, her husband Arthur, and their endeavors. I am thankful to have been a part of their opening and can’t wait to go back and visit soon! I have no doubt that Paula and her team will do an outstanding job styling the women of Farmington, MI.

POTOMAC, MARYLAND’S GRAND OPENING!

“POTOMAC, MARYLAND’S GRAND OPENING”

We had the opportunity to visit the Potomac, MD boutique in November. It is set in a gorgeous area geographically, strategically nestled in the middle of a densely populated and thriving business center. The boutique is beautiful and unique with a noticeably high end, elevated feel to it from the moment you enter the space. Upon entry, there are two built ins that have been completed by Dana’s husband’s team, as well as a stunning geometric print wallpaper behind the spacious, custom built cash wrap. We also loved the accent wallpaper in the back of the boutique that is often used as the backdrop for a social media moment.

Additional fun features of this location include rugs as well as an array of live plants; there is an open ceiling in this location and these accents really give it a warm and cozy vibe, while still maintaining a “boutiquey” feel.

All of these design details truly set the space apart and differentiate it from other locations while also contributing to the high-end design aesthetic and positively affecting the customer experience. What a privilege it is to visit the Potomac, MD boutique!
